That this application be approved to proceed for rezoning from RS-1 (Large Lot Residential) to RM-4 (Apartment) under section 963 of the Municipal Act subject to: a) Completion of a design to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning; b) Satisfaction of Engineering Department requirements; c) Submission of landscaping plans to the satisfaction of the Parks and Recreation Department; d) Satisfaction of Building Department concerns; e) The project being subject to 1993 rates for Development Costs Charges; £) Consolidation of the properties into one lot; and g) Issuance of a Development Permit. That the Planning Department be authorized to draft Development Permit #47/933 and. That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the documents when compieted subject to the conditions noted above. BACKGROUND: A rezoning and development permit application has been received for the construction of a 48 unit apartment building at 1971-95 Suffolk Avenue. The site is currently zoned RS-1 (Large Lot Residential) and is designated for "Apartment" in the OCP. The project is also subject to the design guidelines for the Aggie Park Development Permit Area.
