Post "no stopping or parking, resident parking only" Signs all along the east (resident) side of Humber. We could be more effective in enforcing our voluntary system because the argument that" Humber is a public street ~ I can park wherever I want" would no longer be valid. By obeying these signs , people would then have to park on the west side of Humber when dropping off and picking up there children. This would help to eliminate the running from batween parked cars by children to cross the street. With these signs in place, the staff, Parent Advisory Council , and the local residents could work together to monitor the traffic flew and ensure our children's safety. Z attended the safety committee meeting at City Hall on April 14/92. I realize our problems may appear minor compared to those on Larkin Ave. and Davies St. nonetheless, chey are important to us. TI hope we don't have to wait seventeen years before our concerns are addressed. Sincerely, oe Caos Yaa, Susan Breau . President Mary Hill Elementary PAC . 1890 Humber Cres.
