Subject: Naming of Stirling Street

RECCMMENDATION: That City Council adopt the name of Stirling Street
for the new roadway north of Edinburgh Street, 2100

block.

COMMENTS:

This street name was considered by the Planning Committee during 1981,
but was not submitted to City Council due to an oversight. Consequently,
the street name is being submitted to City Council at this time to
resolve the outstanding matter.

With respect to the name Stirling, it was selected to fit in with
other Scottish street names in the vicinity.
