THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - ZONING BY-LAW The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam will hold a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Thursday, January 25th, 1979 at 7:30 p.m. to consider a proposed new By~law for the City of Port Coquitlam, which said Zoning By-law is entitied "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1979, No. 1651", Proposed Zoning By-law No. 1651 will repeal the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918" and will also repeal all By-laws of the City of Port Coquitlam passed in amendment to the said By-law No. 918. In substitution for the provisions contained in the By- laws repealed, the proposed Zoning By-law will contain certain provisions: a (a) dividing the municipality into zones; (b) regulating the use of land, buildings, and structures within such zones; (ce) regulating the size, shape, and siting of ‘buildings and structures within such zones; a (a) regulating certain other matters such as May be lawfully regulated in a Zoning By-law. The provisions of the proposed Zoning By-law will affect all land, buildings, and structures, located within the corporate limits of the City of Port Coquitlam, SPECIAL NOTE: Certain Zoning Amendment By-laws currently in process but not yet adopted are now stated to be amend ments to the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1978, No. 1628" which has been quashed. Such By-laws will be re-stated in terms of the new Zoning By-law No. 1651 so as to become amendments thereto when passed. A copy of the proposed "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By~iaw, 1975, No. 1651" may now be inspected in the Office of the City Clerk, Port Coquitlam City Hall, at the address given above, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday, inclusive, except Statutory Holidays. All person who deem their interest in property affected by the proposed By-law shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing; either in person, by attorney, or by petition.
