Re: Westminster Credit Union Legal: Lot 79, D.L. 379, Plan 39823 Address: 2233 McAllister Avenue, Strip Map # 20 attached. Comments: Mr. Grant, Treasurer of the Credit Union was in attendance. He discussed the Engineering requirements as requested by our Engineering Department. Mr. Grant explained how the easement would limit any future expansion of the building and that the Credit Union would be more than willing to deposit with the City their share to pave the lane, but felt that at this time it was unreasonable to have the Credit Union pave 190 feet of the lane when at a future date it would probably be torn up. Mr. Wayne Easton from the Engineering Department advised that the storm system was required to intercept a constant high water table problem which follows a water course through that property. Alternative routes for the storm system were persued but the McAllister main is the only one with ‘sufficient depth to handle the water. The requirement point being the constant maintance that would be required if left in a gravel standard. ; It was again pointed out that all requirements were consistent with our Sub~- division By-law and Engineering policies established upon the adoption of the Subdivision By-law # 992. Recommendation: The Committee generally agreed that the requirements were not unrealistic and the cost are reasonable in regards to the development proposed. item If .
