Standards introduced THE ORGANIZATIONS, or Colleges, of health professionals such as doctors and dentists will soon have to include at least onc- third public membership. That's one of the provisions under the Health Professions Statutes Amendment act introduced in the provincial legislature last week. Colleges would also be given new powers to suspend or place limits on a health professional’s practice where it was thought there was an immediate threat to patients.
