Funeral services were held August 15, 1978 for John Kaperberg at the Christian Reformed Church, Sardis, B.C. John passed away August 11, 1978, in Lacombe Alberta while on vacation. Mr. Kaperberg was born in Holland on April 28, 1914 and resided in Terrace from 1955-1977. On leaving Terrace he took residence at 7520 Queen Street in Sardis and worked in Chilliwack was a custodian for School District 38. He is survived by his wife Klaasje, 5 sons, Hank of Michigan, John Fr. of Abbotsford, Frank and Harry of Prince Rupert, Richard of Sardis and 3 grand- children. Pallbearers were Hank Kaperberg, John Kaperberg, Frank Kaperberg,. Harry Kaperberg, Richard Kaperberg and Henry Bergman. Burial took place at the Oddfellows cemetery.
