30 KM/H SPEED ZONE - TYNER STREET

That Council authorize the installation of one 30 km/h speed limit sign on Tyner westside
approximately 30 metres south of Kingsway Avenue and one 30 km/h speed limit sign on Tyner
eastside at the south side of the driveway at 2250 Tynex Street.

To satisfy the speed limit request and to avoid the confusion of changing speed limits in a short
distance, it would be best to make all of Tyner Street a 30 kmh zone (not just in front of
Hawthorne Ledge). This would make the area safer for walking for the residents of Hawthome
Lodge and provide a more consistent speed limit zone.
