Tt is recommended that the Municipal Clerk be instructed to draft the appropriate bylaws to amend the City of Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240 as follows: l. Part X ~ "Industrial zones", Chapter 1001 "General Industrial (M-1)", Section (2) "Uses Permitted", Subsection (b)€i) be amended to read: "Warehousing and indoor storage". Part X - "Industrial Zones'', Chapter 1002 “Heavy Industrial (M-2)", Section (2) "Uses Permitted", be amended to add the following subsection: (b)(vi} Warehousing and Indoor storage. Part X - "Industrial Zones" be amended to add a new subsection under Section (2) Uses Permitted to Chapters 1001 "General Industrial (M-1)", 1002 “Heavy Industrial (M-2)" and 1003 "Clean Industrial (M~3)" to. read as follows: (.) Living accommodation for a caretaker or a watchman, where accommodation is essential to the operation of the facility; such accommodation shall be: (i) Located within a principal building housing a permitted industrial use; (ii) Limited to the caretaker or watchman; (iii) An integral part of the principal building and included in the building plans thereof; (iv) Fully separated from the industrial use by walls, partitions or floor; and (v) Provided with an entrance separate from that of the Industrial use.
