All of these gas stations are nom-conforming uses, presumably, legal non-conforming uses. The proposed amendment to the zoning bylaw contain in the recommendation section of this report will not affect the status of these gasoline service Stations. All of them will remain non-conforming uses until either the use of the land is changed or they apply for appropriate zone. Since the proposed amendments to the CS-1 and CS-2 zones will not have aay noticable impact on the gas stations currently operating as non-conforming uses within the CS-1 zone, the Planning Committee recommends that Council approve the amendments.
