Water Works

Install new 450 mm diameter
main on Eastern Drive from
Lamprey Drive to Western
Drive.

Install new 200 mm main on
Vincent Street between
Prairie and Coquitlam
Avenues,

Sanitary Sewer Works

Replace 200 mm mains in
lane west of Shaughnessy
Street between Kelly Avenue
and Pitt River Road with
250, 300, # and 375 = mm
diameter mains.

Replace 375 mm main on
Coast Meridian Road between
Coquitlam and Westminster
Avenues,

Install new 200 mm main on
Mary Hill Bypass between
Coast Meridian and Broadway.

This main will be necessary to
ensure that adequate flows and
pressures will be available at
the high elevations of the
Mary Hill zone, as well as to
Carry adequate water supply to
the Citadel Heights area
should the Citadel Booster
Pump be out of service. This
main upgrading is an extension
of the works already approved
for reconstructing the Penny
Place Booster Pump Station.

Required for sufficient fire
flow to existing and proposed
multi-family developments in
the area. Provides a loop for
dead-end mains on Grant,
Fraser, and Manning Avenues.

When the Pitt River Road
Pumping Station iS upgraded,
the capacity of these
downstream mains will be
exceeded. The proposed
upgrading will prevent damage
due to surcharging and provide
sufficient capacity to
accommodate growth in the
gravity catchment area.

This upgrading is needed to
provide for growth in the
catchment area. This section
of road is slated for
upgrading and costs will be
less if the sewer is replaced
in conjunction with the road
construction.

This main is necessary to
facilitate industrial
development on Cost Meridian
Road.
