nething in this extension shall prejudice the City in the
defence of any action which may be. commenced.”

Prior to adopting the resolution, Council should receive written
confirmation from the City’s insurer that its coverage will not
be affected by the granting of the. extension. That assurance is
implicit in Ms. Ruzas‘ memorandum of yesterday’s date, but should
be expressly confirmed.
