TTEM NO. 1 1980 Bantam Tournament
- Please see attached letter.

The 1980 Bantam Tournament is to be held March 31st

to April 5th, 1980. Council should be aware that

April 4th, 1980, is Good Friday and presently Council
has adopted a policy that City facilities will be
closed on all statutory holidays, except for November
llth. The Leisure Activities Committee has discussed
this’ problem and suggest the Port Recreation Centre
remain open for the tournament. The Committee propose
the following recommendations for Council consideration:

1. That the Poco Minor Hockey Association be permitted
to use all the facilities of the Port Recreation
Centre March 3ilst - April 5th, 1980, for the 4th
Annual Bantam Tournament.

That they will be charged a rental fee for half the

ice time used on March 3lst, April lst, 2nd, 3rd and .
5th, and furthermore, that on April 4th, Good Friday,"
that they be charged for all the ice time used.

That the question of the use of the concession be
deferred until P.C.A.A.A. bring in their report on
the possible operation of the concession.
