But I do insist to you that my remarks did not at all exhibit
a lack of common courtesy to our guest speaker. I have a
high regard for the Premier as a person. I would not at any .

time display a lack of courtesy to him or to any other govern-—
ment official or representative. .

Lf believe that it is most important that we maintain good
relations with the Provincial Government at all times. Ags
ZL said in my remarks, we should be determined to work together
in the interests of all the people in our communities, and to

continue to improve our relationships, our contacts, and
our understandings.

I hope, also, that I may be able to maintain good relations 7

with you and your council in ovr common interest as members
of the U.B.C.M.
