O: Mayor and Council May 24th, 1974.

FROM: Parks and Recreation Committee

The Parks and Recreation Committee met on Thursday, May 16th, 1974, at
3:45 P.M. Present were Alderman George Laking, Alderman Len Traboulay
and Janna Taylor. .

The Parks and Recreation Committee has met with Mr. Stcobtie ef Stebie and
Associates, Inc., and discussed the attached letter.

The Committee recommends in principle that advertising be permitted in
the two arenas, as outlined in the letter. However, City Council may
at any time refuse advertising that they feel is not appropriate.

Mr. Stobie will be in attendance to fully explain his proposal.
