The Petition of the City of Pert Coquitiam HUMBLY_SHOWETH: That the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam has by Bylaw No. 2150 cited as the "Yarmouth Street (Plans 1786 and 2092) Road Closure Bylaw, 1985, No. 2150" stopped up and closed to traffic a certain portion of Road and Lane therein described; That the said Bylaw No. 2150 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquittam was reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam on the 16th day of December, 1985 and a duly certified copy {s attached hereto; That the registered owners of al} the adjoining and contiguous ftands have consented to the closure of the said portion of Road and Lane described in the said Bylaw No. 2150 and The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam has agreed to accept title to the land comprising the same; ; That the said portion of road and Jane have never been opened to traffic nor has public money been expended thereon and it is the desire of the Council of the said City to consolidate the fane the land comprising the same with adjacent Property owned by the City in order that one lot having an area of 3.275 ha. may be created. That by resolution dated the 16th day of December, 1985 the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam authorized the presentation of a Petition to the Minister of Municipal Affairs praying for the abandonment of the portion of Road and Lane described in the sald Bylaw No. 2150 so stopped up and closed to traffic; THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly prays for the abandonment of the said portion of Road and Lane described in Bylaw No. 2150 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and the vesting of title to the land comprising same in The Corporation of the City of Port Coquittam. ; .
