Re: Municipal Requests for Major Bus Service Improvements

As part of our annual service planning process, we are currently assessing municipal requests
for major bus service improvements which we have received over the last two years.
Attached is a list of these requests that we have recently assembled. The proposals in the
list are for major bus service changes, including:

new routes; .

major route extensions;

large increases in the frequency of service on existing routes;

significant expansion of hours of service on existing routes, such as introduction

of midday or evening service.

The list is not intended to include proposed service changes of a more routine nature, such
as bus stop revisions, minor frequency adjustments and schedule adjustments. Requests for
these are addressed in the Quarterly Service Plans.

I wish to invite you to review the attached list for completeness. If there are other major
bus service improvements requested-by your municipality which are not shown on the list,
please fax these to us at 264-5026, or call Mr. Ross Long at 264-5000 (ext. 5121). We would
like to be advised of any such omissions by Monday, December 6, 1993.
