All of the fixtures in Table 4.9.A. of the British Columbia Plumbing Code with the addition of the following are subject to the above fees: vacuum breaker hydraulic equipment sewage sump Oil interceptor grease interceptor gasoline interceptor neutralizer temporary blow off double check assembly value assembly No fee for a Plumbing Permit shall be refunded if the work authorized by the permit has been commenced; but if no work has been commenced and the permit is surrendered and cancelled the City Treasurer shall refund 90% of the Plumbing Permit Fee; however, no refund shall be made of amounts less than $25.00. BUILDING DEMOLITION PERMITS FEES The permit fee for demolition of buildings and structures under 400 square feet in area is $27.00 and the permit fee for demolition of buildings and structures in excess of 400 square feet is $53.00, payable prior to issuance of a demolition permit. REINSPECTION CHARGE Where, due to noncompliance with the provisions of this Bylaw more than two inspections are necessary when one inspection is normally required, for each inspection after the second inspection, an inspection charge of $50.00 is payable in advance of inspection. EXTRAORDINARY INSPECTION CHARGES 9.1. For a required permit inspection requested to be done after hours during which the offices of the City Hall are normally open, an inspection charge shall be payable based on the time actually spent in making such inspection, including travelling time, of $80.00 per hour with a minimum charge of $280.00.
