SUBJECT: Sale of City Land - 1488 Pitt River Road

RESOLUTION:

"WHEREAS the lands hereinafter described are not required for

municipal purposes nor are they reserved or dedicated;

NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that:

1. Lot 3, Block 13-15, District Lot 232, Group One, Pian 1932,
New Westminster District, being 1488 Pitt River Road, Port
Coquitiam, B.C. be sold to Alfred Miller, 1498 Pitt River
Road, Port Coquitlam, 8.C. at or for the price or sum of
$30,000.00;

2. The adjustment date be October 31st, 1986, or earlier.

3. The possession date be October 31st, 1986, or earlier;

4. The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute the documents
necessary for the purpose aforesaid and to affix the
Corporate Seal of the City thereto;

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

When the time for receipt of tenders for the above noted
Property closed at 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 2nd, 1986
only the one tender had been received. Council members wiii
recail that the "upset price" on this property was exactly the
price offered, $30,000.00.
