In speaking te his report, Alderman Ranger referred to statistics published in the G.V.R.D. Livable Region Study and the numerous proposals B for housing developments in the general area, all of which will provide housing but no jobs for the residents, however, it was pointed out that in actuality there may be some delay in the completion of the projected developments. Alderman Ranger also commented on the proposed 'strip' development plan for the Regional Town Center and expressed a contrary view to the thought that it would tend to create, as stated by Alderman Traboulay, a similar situation as now exists in the Downtown New Westminster Area.
