That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to endorse a
restrictive covenant for Lot 8, D.L. 340, Grp. i, NWD, Plan
75623, limiting use of the property to a single family dwelling.

COMMENTS 3.

The Building Department have received and have processed an
application to construct a single family dwelling at this
property. In examining the plans and viewing construction of
the dwelling, it became evident that the home would be easily
convertible to permitting an illegal suite in the basement.

In view of this, the Building Inspector that inspected the
‘dwelling has requested that the owner have a covenant prepared,
reinforcing that the building is to be used only for a single
family dwelling. ;

In conclusion, authorization for the Mayor and City Clerk to

endorse this covenant is being recommended.
