: Electoral Redistribution.

Moved by Alderman Farnworth:
Seconded by Alderman Wright:

That Council protest the recent Federal Redistribution of Mission
Port Moody, resulting in the City being the divided between two ridings;

And That Counci! pursue this objection through the House of Commons
standing Committee on Electoral Redistribution.

From tne City Treasurer, March 27, 1987 regarding the 75th Birthday
Book.

seconded by Alderman Keryluk:

That approval be given to start work on the Port Coguitltam 75th i,
Birthday book. a

Prior to the question being calted on the foregoing resolution the
City Treasurer informed Council that the City will not receive the
$24,124.00 grant referred to in his report to Council.

Alderman Keryluk then proposed the following resolution.

seconded by Alderman Wright:

That the matter of approval to start work on the Port Coquitiam 75th
Birthday book be referred to the 75th Diamond Jubilee Committee.

Defeated.

The question was then called on the original resolution.

That approval be given to start work on the Port Coquitlam 75th
Birthday book.
