The Petition of the Clty of Port Coquitlam

HUMBLY SHOWETH:

That the Municipal Counc!! of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has
by Bylaw No. 2111 clted as the "Church (Plan 1897) Road Closure Bylaw, 1985, No.
2111" stopped up and closed to traftie a certain portion of Road and Lane therein

That the sald Bylaw No. 2111 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was
reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Councl! of The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam on the 22nd day of July, 1985 and a
duly certified copy Is attached hereto;

That the registered owners of all the adjoining and cont! guous lands have
consented to the closure of the sald portion of Road deserlbed In the sald Bylaw
No. 2111: and The.Corporation of the Clty of Port Coquitlam has agreed to accept

title to the land comprising the same;

That It Is no longer necessary to use the portion of road and lane deserltbed In
the sald Bylaw No. 2111 as part of the road system of the City and It Is the
desire of the Counc!! of the Clty to undertake the necessary statutory procedures
In order that the land comprising the same, atong with adjacent land now owned by
the Clty can be Ineluded In a subdivision plan affecting a division of the
property between the City and the Reman Catholle Archbishop of Vancouver

resulting In a payment of $40,000.00 to the Clty;

That by resolution dated the 2Znd day of July, 1985 the Municlpal Couric! | of Tha
Corporation of the Clty of Port Coquitiam author!zed the presentation of a
Petition to the Minister of Municipal Affairs praying for the abandonment of the
portion of Lane described in the sald Bylaw No. 2111 so stopped up and closed to

traffie;

THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly prays for the abandonment of the sald portion of

Road and Lane described In Bylaw No. 2111 of The Corporation of the Clty of Port
Coquitlam and the vesting of title to the land comprising sama In The Corporation

of the Clty of Port Coquitiam.

AND your Petitioner as In duty bound wil! ever pray, etc.

AND dated at Port Coqultiam, British Columbla, this 23rd day of July, 1985.
