BACKGROUND:

During the City Counct1 meeting of Monday 28 January 1985, the
Subject rezoning application was referred to the Pianning
Committee ot Gouncli tor the Introduction of aaaitional
information ana further review.

COMMENTS: |

1. The proposed eight jot subaivision has been retined to
adaress concerns raised about trattic congestion ana
safety. Changes made to the Propesal Include the
installation ot -extensive landscaping atong Coast Meridian,
varying house setbacks to improve the street view and
building common ariveways along the lana to reduce the
number of entry points trom eight to four.

2. With respect to revising the Community Plan designation,
The applicant feels this is a peripheral location that is
not central ana consequently will not have an Impact on the
overall apartment designation.
