The Committee felt that this particular case was somewhat different from the other potentia! connections in that it did not require an extension of the sewer but simply a service connection into a manhole. Therefore the Committee felt that this case would be an exception and could be allowed. in order for the City to become Involved directly with a resident of the District for sewer services. The District Is responsible for t _ providing service to its own residents and has the power to collect the money : 7 through taxes if the resident should default on payment.
