THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT FOQUITLAM a The Committees also recommended that a public infor- mation meeting to explain the drainaye concept and answer questions be set up for later this month and ‘that all members of the industrial area association and Chamber of Commerce be invited to attend. ; ITEM IT Re: CP Rail Contribution for Dominion Avenue Pumping Station The Committee considered the attached letter from CP Rail dealing with their drainage requirements for the expan- Sion of the CP Yard. It is my recollection and also the under- standing of the Committee that these conditions are substantially as agreed to between ourselves and CP Rail in a meeting held in’ the former Mayor's office. However, tue Committees had some concern about the possibility of future commercial development at the west ‘end of the Yard. tt is possible that such commercial development might be better served by a storm sewer directly to the Coquitlam River. The Committee therefore recommends that the above conditions be approved with the exception that they would not apply to future large scale commercial developments.
