THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM

BY-LAW NO. 1365

A By~law to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitian.:
to dispose of a portion of the read in District Lot 290, Group One, New
Westminster. District dedicated by Plan 1678 and Plan 32089 in exchange for
sufficient land cro relocate the said road. ,

WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of
cancelling a portion of the existing road in District Lot 290, Group One, New
Westminster District, dedicated by Plan 1678 and Plan 32089 in the City of
Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia;

- AND WHEREAS the Registered Owners of Lot 182, District Lot 290, Group
One, Plan 26051, New Westminster District, have agreed to convey a portion of
the said Lot 182 to the City in exchange for the lands comprising the portion
of road to be cancelled; |

AND WHEREAS the “Municipal Act" being Chapter 255 of the Revised
Statutes of British Columbia, 1960, provides that the Council may by By~law
dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may he
necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening re-locating or
diverting the highway;

THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of
Port Coquitlam, in open meeting asembled, enacts as follows:
i. The City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey to.
Enterprise Construction Company Ltd., 203 - 955 West Broadway, Vancouver, in
the Province of British Columbia, ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract -
o:} land and premises which may be more particularly described as follows:

All that portion of road situated in District Lot 290, Group One,

New Westminster District shown dedicated on Plan 1678 and Plan

32089 shown outlined green on plan prepared by Barry Allan, B.C.L.S.,

and dated February 26th, 1975
at or for the price or sum of Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Thirteen Dollara
($&,913.00) and in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of land
described in the next Section hereof,
2. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam 1s hereby authorized .
to purchase of and from the said Enterprise Construction Company Ltd. ALL AND

,SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises which may be

more particularly described as follows:
