Around Town Troupe remounts Undressing the Nation ‘MAYBE THEY haven’t quite got it out of their systems. Hot on the heels of a Riverboat Days run and a string of performances at both the Prince Rupert and Prince George fringe festivals, the cast and crew of Undressing the Nation are now looking at a dinner theatre engage- ment in Terrace, Director Daniel Barnswell says the show ~ a farce that blends politics with scandal — was a hit on tour. The Cold Dark Matter Production played 10 shows in Rupert before heading to Prince George. “We did 17 shows in 19 days or something like that,” Barnswell says, clearly marvelling at the pace. “The show is pretty hot - we've got this stuff down pat.” He hopes the show will be remounted as a dinner theatre production in Terrace later this month, with pos- sible plans for performances in Smithers. Two Udder Festival highlights for Barnswell were Rudy Keily’s Dead TV and Honey You Shrunk My Spee- do, a series of 14 sketches. Prince George’s Fringe Fest, presented at the College of New Caledonia, included one-man shows, a student film, a band, and a Croatian dance group from SFU.
