May 26th, 1975 Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam hereby endorses the appointment of the following persons by the Joint Family Division Committee of School District No. 43 for the positions of Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Committee for 1975: Chairman - Alderman D. Driscoll Deputy Chairman - Ms. D. Kenmuir Carried. From the Lower Mainland Municipal Association, being an advance notice of meeting scheduled to be held in the Empress Hotel, Chilliwack, B.C., on June 12th, 1975 at 6:30 p.m. Alderman Laking stated he planned to be in attendance, and Alderman Ranger advised he would endeavour to go as he wished to present two resolutions for endorsation by the Association prior to forwarding them to the Union of British Columbia Municipalities. REPORTS: From the City Clerk, May 15th, 1975, advising that with respect to the sale of the former McKenzie Avenue Road Allowance, no alternate proposals for disposition of the property had been received following the posting of the required notice and that it would now be in order to sell the property to Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Coult. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That Parcel 1 (By-law Plan 46578) of Block 14, District Lot 232, Group One, Plan 1932, New Westminster District be sold to Arthur L. Coult and Kathleen G. Coult, 1440 Pitt River Road, Port Coquitlam, B. C. at or for the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00); SUBJECT TO the consolidation of the said Parcel 1 with Lot A, Block 13, District Lot 232, Group One, Plan 5117, New Westminster District: AND SUBJECT TO the provision of a Right-of-Way in favour of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam for drainage purposes over a strip along the Southerly boundary of the said Parcel 1, the width of such strip to be determined by the City Engineer; AND THAT His Worship the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute the necessary documents therefor on behalf of the City and to affix the Corporate Seal thereto.
