Further to our letter datad- April 26, 1991 and subsequent conversations
regarding this project we have obtained a quotation from a contractor with
whom we would enter into a design build arrangement if he were given the
project on a sole source basis. . 7

To undertake the work as outlined in our letter to you dated November 22,
1990 and in general conformity with our praposal drawings the total price for
the design and construction of the dock would be $76,000.00 excluding the
ae G.S.T. This would represent an approximate potential saving of 18% compared
Ba ee Arad our previous estimate which was based on the select tendering of the
project. ,

we would recammend the Corporation seriously consider the design build format
ror this project in that there are considerable savings which may. be
realized.
