September 24, 1990/257 A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act was held prior to the Council meeting of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2589 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, September 24th, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, M.R. Wright and W.W. Stewart in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Treasurer J.C. Maitland, City Engineer I. Zahynacz, Director of Community Planning C.R. Felip, Acting Parks and Recreation Director L. Wheeler and Fire Chief J. Baillie. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay advised that the following proposed Bylaw would now be considered: Bylaw No. 2537 to establish the area extent and regulations for Development Permit Areas "III", "Vv", and "VII". For property locations refer to maps attached to Council Agenda. No one was present to speak regarding the proposed zoning amendment. Bylaw No. 2540 1. To add a number of definitions to the Bylaw. 2. To amend the definition of “height” in Section 101 of the Bylaw. 3. To amend the provisions respecting siting of underground structures. 4. To enact provisions respecting Recreation Areas and Residential Floor Area Ratios. 5. To repeal the present regulations in the Bylaw applying to the RM-4 (Apartment) zone pertaining to Uses Permitted, Floor Area Ratio, Recreation Areas, Lot Coverage, Yard Requirements, Special Conditions, Off-Street Parking, and Height of Buildings and enact new regulations in their place. To repeal the present regulations in the Bylaw applying to the RM-5 (Downtown Apartment Residential) zone pertaining to Uses Permitted, Floor Area Ratio, Recreation Areas, Lot Coverage, Yard Requirements, Off-Street Parking, and Height of Buildings and enact new regulations in their place.
