and to this Alderman Keryluk agreed, Alderman Traboulay then made a further
suggestion that item No. 5 be removed in its entirety; however, the City
Clerk pointed out. that in order to be consistent, such a deletion would re-
quire that the words 'business.or" be inserted between the werds "a" and

"personal" in both Item No. 4 and Item No. 7 of the Statement, and the follow-

ing motion was then proposed:

That the Policy Statement re Employee Recruitment as set forth in a

memorandum from the City Clerk, March 8th, 1974, be tabled for further study

and review. Carried.
BY-LAWS :

The City Clerk advised that the "Tax Sale Reserve Fund Expenditure
Authorization By-law, 1974, No. 1300" has received the required approval

of the Minister of Municipal Affairs and is now available for Further con-

sideration.

No. 1303" was then presented for further consideration; however, the City
Clerk suggested that this be deferred in order that the timed “No Parking"
restrictions on Cedar Drive approved earlier this evening could be. included
therein, and to this the Council agreed.

Alderman Ranger introduced a By-law tc authorize temporary. borrowings
pending the sale of debentures.
