Demederios who has recently returned from his summer time jaunt to the Carribean, his fourth trip i in as many summers, ‘ Demederios came to Terrace from Portugal _ with his family in 1980. He’s always held an_ interest in soccer and always \ was part of school teams. : In 1970, at the age of sixteen; he made his first trip to Bermuda, poing strictly jor pleasure. While there he tried out for and made a junior ‘team - the Bermuda Athletic Association entry in the junior soccer ranks, He played with them for two months before returning to. Terrace. He went back in ’71, '72 and ‘73, playing for two or three months with the junior team, When he. returned to Terrace in the fall of 1973 it was with an invitation to return in 1974 to play for a first division mens team.
