La cérémonie pour la remise de la Médaille et de
la plaque Amélie Gareau a eut lieu plus d’un mois
aprés la tenue de l’AGA, et c’est Richard Chabot
qui a accepté le prix au nom de Richard Gobeil,
absent pour |’occasion.

Mot du Conseil de gestion de
Our 97/98 year will have a few fewer children
n the groups but judging by yhe exuberance of our leaders, they will
have a great year. The groups are right into many activities - two
camps and several outings, and all too soon comes
a break for Christmas ! The leaders had a very
successful full day of formation with several young new
assistants getting their first level of skills.
Our committee of parents is getting pro active this year in the area
of fundraising. We had a very successful “pie & cookie” sale
raising over 800.00$, in a great part thanks to the parents. Look
for another one in the spring and we will be expecting a 100%
involvement which could conciderably triple our income. The
product sells itself so this is an ideal fundraiser.
Also, on March 6 we are having a bowling party. If you went

last time you'll be sure not to miss this one, and bring your

friends ! So, for our groups to all of you have a very happy and
blessed Christmas - take time to relax, enjoy friends, don’t eat
too much. And remember “ Jesus is the reason for the season “!!
