The review cf applications received under Part V of the Revenue Sharing Act
has been completed and I am pleased to advise that grants to your municipality
have been approved in respect to the following Municipal Highways projects:

Kingsway - Westwood to Coquitlam River $386,231

While our government is doing everything it can to reduce the deficit through
tough expenditure measures and a balanced approach to revenues, we see these
grants as very productive expenditures with far reaching economic spinoffs.
They represent an investment in the future of the province, one which not only
creates jobs now, but maintains and improves community amenities for our
citizens. -

On behalf of the Government of British Columbia, it is a pleasure to announce
the approval of these grants under the Revenue Sharing Act.
