A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy
Street, Port Coquitlam, BC on Monday, January 11th, 1993, at 7:30 p.m.

Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Councillors M.D. Gates, M.J. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, R.H.
Talbot, M.A. Thompson, and M.R. Wright were in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk S. Rauh, City
Treasurer/Deputy Administrator, J.G.S. Maitland, City Engineer LR. Zahynacz, Director of
Planning C.R. Felip, and Fire Chief J. Baillie.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Superintendent John Matthewson,

Coquitlam RCMP Retiree. His Worship made a presentation of a gift, book, and a Port
Coquitlam pin to Superintendent Matthewson.

That the minutes of the Regular Council meeting held on December 21st, 1992 be taken as
read and adopted.

DELEGATIONS:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Dale Barron, Parklane Homes, who
gave a brief outline of the Riverwosd concept.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Gordon Ray, Executive Director of the
Fraser Valley Regional Library who addressed Council regarding the Fraser Valley Regional
Library Budget; the BC Government Publication Library Depository Program; and Handling
Charges for imported packages.

That the Fraser Valley Regional Library Budget be approved.
