SUBJECT: Sale of City Property - 1592 Knappen Street

RESOLUTION:

“WHEREAS the lands hereinafter described are not required for municipal
purposes nor are they reserved or dedicated;

NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that:

I. Lot 12, District Lot 384, Group 1, Plan 74266, New Westminster
District, Port Coquitlam, B.C. be sold by tender 1f bids acceptable to
Couneil are received;

The City Clerk is hereby instructed and authorized to publish and post
the "Real Property for Sale By Tender” notice appearing in the Agenda
documenta of this Council Meeting;

The terms and conditiong contained therein are hereby approved;

The City Clerk carry out the procedures set out therein;

Couneil reserves the right to accept any bid or bids or to reject any
or all of the bids if Council in its absolute discretion determines
that rejection is appropriate.

AND THAT the resolution relating to the sale of this property passed by
Council on September 9th, 1991 be rescinded.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

After the Council passed the resolution oa September 9th, 1991
authorizing sale of the above property a8 three separate lots (after
subdivision) persons interested in acquiring the property as one lot have come
forward, thus making subdivision unneccessary.

The details of sale and location of the property are shown on the
material following.
