May 16th, A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Fort Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C., on May 16th, 1977, at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, M.A. Thompson, and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P. Eng., Planning Officer Lanson Lee, Recreation Director Janna Taylor, City Treasurer J.G.S. Maitland, Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, Works & Utilities Superintendent G. Ulmer, and Mrs. B.M. Aalten. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: Zoning Public. Hearing ~ His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell advised the meeting the following proposed By-law to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, would now be considered: By-law No. 1534: B/law #1534 To rezone Lots 15, 16, 17 and 18, Block 23, District Lot 464, Group One, Plan 2245, New Westminster District from RM-1 (Low-Density Apartment Residential) to RM-3 (Intermediate-Density Apartment: Residential). This property is located at the North-west corner of Manning Avenue and Cambridge Street and it is expected that a six unit row-housing project will be developed on the property following completion of the rezoning procedures. The Planning Officer spoke briefly to the proposed project and advised that it conforms to the long-term objective For the area in which it will be located. No one was present in opposition to the above-stated By-law Amendment. Mayor Campbell then advised the meeting the following proposed By- law to authorize issuance of a Land Use Contract to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918" would now be considered: By-law No. 1536: B/law #1536 To authorize the Council to enter into a Land Use Contract with Nu- West Development Corporation Ltd., 12650 - 82nd Avenue, Surrey, B.C. in the form and to the extent set forth in "Land Use Contract No. 22" which said Land Use Contract is annexed to and made part of the By-law and the said Land Use Contract No. 22 shall extend to and shall regulate the development and use of land described as:
