Page ~ 3 - WHEREA is a discouraging recycling: THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Federal Govern- ment be urged to provide incentives to industries using recycled material so as to encourage its use. Also carried was the following resolution on recreation: WORKSOP ON RECREATION AND LEISURE June 6, 1973 The Workshop’ amended this resolution as follows: WHEREAS there is an increasing demand for more recreational facilities of a major proportion; and WHEREAS the Government of Canada its concerned about the phystcel and mental welfare of the Canadian citizens because of the ever increasing and almost prohibitive costs which the Government is encountering to meet the costs of medical and hospitalization ser~ vices; and ’ : .
