Ice champions come to Kitimat

ELIZABETH MANLEY is com-
ing to the northwest.

Canada’s 1988 Olympics silver
medallist is one of the slar-
studded cast of the World Cup
Figure Skating Champions icc
show which is coming to Kitimal
nextmonth, ,

The show features 16 Olympic
and World champions.

Nine of the cast entered the
U.S. Open Professional competi-
tion held. in Decornber, all nine
coming away witha medal.

That included taking three of
the four gold medals awarded,

name of our tour is not just
hype,’’ producer Michacl Rosen-
berg pointed out.

One of those gald medallists
was Caryn Kadavy and in win-
ning the Ladies she became the
first figure skater io win threc
consecutive professional titles,
