INTRA WEST DEVELOPMENT, HOME CENTRE PROJECT - REQUEST TO
EXTEND DEVELOPER’S SERVICING AGREEMENT FOR ONE YEAR
(Public Works Committee meeting of December 14, 1993)

That Council grant the request from Intrawest Corporations to extend their Developer's
Servicing Agreement for one year, subject to the following:

a) The Letter of Credit be increased by a percentage acceptable to the City,

b) the construction of the approved roadway improvements to the intersection of
Lougheed and Shaughnessy will commence by March 15, 1994,

if the instailation of the remaining servicing works for the development has
not commenced by June 1, 1994 the City may instruct the developer to
proceed with the work in accordance with the terms of the Developer's

Agreement.

The Intrawest Corporation has written (letter of December 13, 1993 copy attached) requesting an
extension of one year to their Developer's Agreement executed as part of the subdivision
‘requirements for the development at Lougheed and Shaughnessy. Attached is a letter outlining
their request. The Public Works Committee considered this request at their regular meeting held
December 14, 1993. It was recommended that the request be granted in accordance with their
letter, with the provision that if the installation of the remaining servicing works has not
commenced by June 1, 1994 the City will have the authority to instruct the Developer to proceed
with the worle in accordance with the terms of the Developer's Agreement. The servicing —
agreement will be amended to reflect these requirements.
