Hye anil cae A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of ‘Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, November 23rd, 1992, at 7:30 p.m. Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Councillors M.D. Gates, MJ. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, R.H. Talbot, and M.R. Wright were in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk S. Rauh, Acting Engineer J.E. Yip, Director of Planning C.R. Felip, and Fire Chief J. Baillie. That the minutes of the Regular Council meeting held on November 16th, 1992 be amended changing the word ’bumps’ te humps’ in the Acting City Engineer’s report regarding Kitchener/Davies Traffic Improvements in Section ‘ii’, page 329. And that the amended minutes of the regular Council Meeting held on November 16th, 1992 be taken as read and adopted. Carried. DELEGATION: His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Gordon Ray, Executive Director of the Fraser Valley Regional Library who discussed the Copyright Act and its effect on the Library Budget. Moved by Councillor Talbot: That a letter be written to object to the impending legislative changes to the Copyright Act dealing with the practice of "buying around", in that these changes will impact directly on the ability of the Fraser Valley Regional Library to supply new materials to the libraries. Carried. Councillor Talbot introduced the Fraser Valley Regional Library 1993 Budget. Seconded by Councillor Wright: That Council approve the Fraser Valley Regional Library Budget for 1993.
