That Council approve up to $5,000 for a transportation consultant to
review the traffic circulation in the area bounded by Westwood, Patricia,
Hastings, and Davies to determine if other traffic improvements are available
for consideration by Council prior to implementing recommendations one and two
above.

That Council allocate $5,000 from the Future Capital Reserve Fund for this
purpose.

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution:

Seconded by Alderman Thompson:

That the report from the City Engineer regarding traffic improvements
Woodland/Patricia/Hastings/Davies area be deferred for one week.

against the resolution.

That the City approach the Ministry of Highways to review and submit
suggestions on traffic patterns in the Westwood/Patricia/Hastings/Davies area.

That, if required Council approve up to $5,000 for a transportation
consultant to review the traffic circulation in the area bounded by Westwood,
Patricia, Hastings, and Davies to determine if other traffic improvements are
available for consideration by Council.

And that Council allocate $5,000 from the Future Capital Reserve Fund for
this purpose.
