Re: Application for approval of a private out-door event

Dear Sir or Ma'am;

New View Society is a non profit organization in the city of
Port coquitlam. We offer services to persons of this community
who have mental illness and are in need of specific support ser-
vices. One of the services we offer is in a ‘clubhouse’ setting,
located at 2050 Maryhill Rd.

On Friday evening, August 25th, we are holding a ‘SummerFest'
event for our members. It will include a bar-b-que, a presenta-
tion by our Drama Club, and afterward, a pub and dance. In the
past year we held two other pub events, which were very success-
and trouble free. We feel that part of the reason for the success
of these events was the enforced stipulation that individual al-
coholic intake was limitated to two beverages each.

For our 'SummerFest' event we wish to apply for approval to
hold this private event, in part, out of doors on the grounds of

our private dwelling. The specific areas of our property we wish

to use are: 1) the covered patio area which is locatediimmédiately

adjacent to the house, and 2) the fenced yard area. Please see
