RE: POCQ VALLEY GOLF & COUNTRY ENTERPRISES LTD.
OQUTDOOR TENNIS COURTS

Following our several presentations to Council and subsequent requests for guidance and
various approvals, a decision has been made to request the following: -

That permission be granted by Council, the City Planner and other
Municipal Officers, at this time, to allow the construction and
installation of a four-court tennis playing area on property presently
owned and operated by PoCo Valley Golf & Country Enterprises Ltd.,
located adjacent to and east of the present clubhouse site.

It is our hope that the P-3 (commercial-recreation) zoning interpretation will favour
the requested installation permit. The tennis court installation has been referred to
as an integral part of the "country club" or community recreation philosophy of.
Enterprises from inception. Further, the Coquitlam Tennis Club membership have
voted almost unanimous intent to join as playing members starting April 1, 1977

(or upon completion).

It is our hope that an early response allowing us to proceed will enable us to meet
the April Ist, 1977 completion schedule for the project.
