Freeman, City Clerk N 34 1972 . ~— ee ee oe eee mee mee meat ne meme wee em ee we we me we ee = , Rez: "City of Port Coquitlam Taxi and Taxi-Driver Regulation By-law, 1972, No. 1131" The above noted By-law was reconsidered, finally passed and adopted at the regular Council meeting held on January 24th, 1972. It is my understanding oN that Alderman Ranger wishes the Council to discuss the possibility of deleting the three words "whenever reasonably possible" that were inserted in Section 17 of the By-law prior to it receiving first reading. Section 17 of the By-law is quoted hereunder and the three words in question are shown underlined. ve Soe, "17. (a) Every owner and driver of a taxi shall accomodate persons desiring to engage his service in the order of their application wherever reasonably possible, and if a taxi cab is not available to give the. desired service forthwith then the applicant shall be so informed. (b) No owner or driver shall refuse or neglect to convey an orderly person upon request by such person unlese previously engaged or prohibited by Law." City Clerk eo es & =) fe
