the Skeena Valley Fall Fair
keeps Jean Hamer so busy,
she can’t even pinpoint her’
favourite fair event.

“My favourite event used’

to be the show sheep,” says
Hamer... “But” being . presi-
dent, I’m just busy making
sure everything is going
fine.”
_ Hamer’s association with
_ the fair began about 12 years
. ago when she. began volun-
teering as part of the 4H.

hoped to scale back her du-

_ ties as vice-president. That
only .lasted half. a year,
though, as the new president
moved to Prince George.
