No-U-Turns Sign (RB-16)

The No-U-Turn sign when used shall indicate that drivers are
prohibited from executing U turns at or near that location.
Where U Turns are strictly prohibited by Statute throughout a
given area. it iS unnecessary to erect this sign at. or between
individual intersections.

No Right (Or Left) Turn On Red Traffic Signal
(RB-17, RB-18)

RB-16 The No Right(Or Left) Turn on Red sign when used in coniunc-

permitted to undertake the indicated movements which may be
otherwise permitted.

Such prohibitions may be required for any of the following
conditions:

a) Inadequate sight distance;

b) Irregular inter -z:tiom with more than four approaches and
multiphase control or restrictive geometnics:

Conflicts with an exclusive pedestrian phase:

Existence of unusual movements such as douole left turns from
opposing traffic or double tight turns:

The sign should be mounted adjacent to the far right signal
head (or the far left). Whena near right (or left) signal head exists,
another sign shall be erected. Other special ciscumstances such asa
