We do not know whether this material wilt be
effective in reducing grading costs nor how long it will remain
effective for dust control. We do know that its effectiveness
depends on the amount of rain it is exposed to since it: does
wash away eventually. We would like to. try this material. in
Port Coquitiam on an experimental basis to see whether it is
worthwhile implementing an annual dust control program. The
locations mentioned above will give us an idea of ivs
effectiveness on gravel roads under different types of traffic
conditions and wit|l also address the complaints received ay . the
