Alderman Keryluk asked for clarification on how the City determines who is on water meter and the City Administrator advised it is determined by the type of business licence issued. Alderman Ranger stated that under the regulations governing By-law No. 991 water meters must be installed when a commercial business licence is issued for a business requiring the use of large amounts of water, i.e nursery, farm, etc. Prior to the defeat of the foregoing resolution the following amendment was proposed: Moved by Alderman iaking: That the foregoing resolution be amended to include the words: “provided the heating system is removed from the greenhouse." From the Public Works Committee, March 28th, 1979 advising of 38/79 oe re Truck noise on the north side. complaints received from residents on the north side of Port Coquitlam about vibrations, noise and speeding of trucks and requesting that a truck route be implemented or that truck speed limits of 30 km/h be posted on some of the streets. Upon investigation of the situation the Committee felt that lower speed limits for trucks would be difficult to enforce and that a truck route could not be established on the north side.
